Quality assurance commission
Pursuant to the Rulebook on Quality Assurance at the Bijeljina Universit, the Quality Assurance Commission has the following competencies:
- prepares quality assurance policy, development and quality assurance strategies as well as action plans for their implementation and forms a proposal to the Senate for their final adoption;
- monitors the implementation of the Quality Assurance Strategy, standards and procedures and proposes measures to eliminate the identified weaknesses in order to improve quality;
- proposes concrete projects and activities to the University Senate;
- encourages innovation and development in order to ensure and improve quality;
- promotes the building of a culture of quality at the University and its members;
- defines standards, criteria and quality indicators;
- defines the criteria for quality functioning of the University;
- develops procedures for external and internal evaluation, methods for researching various aspects of the quality of education, as well as various target groups (students, teachers, administrative staff, managers, employers);
- prepares proposals for the improvement of quality control standards, procedures and methods in accordance with the standards of the Council for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance;
- plans and prepares activities related to monitoring and quality control at the University and its members;
- considers and evaluates the work of the Quality Committee;
- supervises and controls the implementation of the self-evaluation procedure;
- proposes, if necessary, extraordinary self-evaluation in certain areas;
- submits reports and informs the University Senate on the situation in the field of quality;
- form the working bodies of the Commission;
- provides advice and recommendations to members of the University;
- organizes seminars in the field of quality assurance;
- performs other tasks of importance for the improvement and development of the quality of study programs, teaching and working conditions in accordance with the Law and other general acts of the University.
