ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

 

The University of Bijeljina was established by the College of Health Care in Bijeljina, based on the consent of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska. The University is constantly looking for the most suitable educational model, adopting and transferring new scientific disciplines, expanding the field of educational technologies and striving to be included in the international educational system. The Bijeljina University ensures quality assurance through achieving the quality of similar higher education institutions of the Republic of Srpska, BiH and beyond, through categories, which also represent legal categories, and they are:

  • space and equipment,
  • teachers,
  • students,
  • finance.

In terms of spatial and technological resources, the Bijeljina University is among the best equipped. Within the space of about 4,300 m2, which is located on Pavlovića put near the location of the Ethno village "Stanišići", the University has 4 amphitheaters and 5 classrooms with a total of 600 seats. Students have at their disposal a computer room with a total of 20 networked computers and a library with a reading room. Teachers, associates and the administration have at their disposal 12 cabinets, i.e., offices. The amphitheaters have their own sound system, and all classrooms provided with internet access and teaching through video projections. In addition to the abovementioned, the University has 9 laboratories intended for performing exercises of students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Agriculture. All laboratories are built according to the latest standards that allow students to get acquainted with all the methods used in conducting modern practical classes.

The University of Bijeljina was established by the College of Health Care Bijeljina, based on the Consent of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska.

The mission of the University is to enable the acquisition of new knowledge, skills and competencies, primarily for candidates from Semberija and surrounding regions, then the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina and from other interested countries. That is, performing educational scientific research and knowledge transfer in the economy.
