The University implements activities that are in accordance with the good practice of international cooperation activities in the European area of ​​higher education, European standards and guidelines for quality assurance, Priorities for the development of higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina 2016-2026, Criteria for accreditation of higher education institutions and study programs, Standards for initial accreditation of higher education institutions and study programs of the Republic of Srpska, as well as other legislative acts and regulations regulated at the level of the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The goal of establishing a system of international cooperation is to define the direction in which the University should move when it comes to the international recognition of the University, increasing the incoming and outgoing mobility of students and staff, participation in European programs of international cooperation, cooperation with partner institutions in the surrounding area and beyond, internationalization of the curriculum and the learning process.
