VISA INFORMATION

Citizens of the countries of the European Union and other countries listed in the above link in Article 2 are exempted from obtaining a visa for entry, exit, transit and stay on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina for a period of up to 90 days in a period of six months.
Students and staff who stay in the country for more than three months are required to register with The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs. The application would be made with the support of the International Coordinator of the University of Bijeljina (direktor@ubn.rs.ba, jovana.vujic.ubn@gmail.com).
INSURANCE INFORMATION
Citizens and students from EU and non-EU countries should have health insurance from an insurance company in their country or other appropriate responsible organization. It is recommended that students and staff inquire in their country about insurance before coming to our country.

HOUSING
There is a possibility of finding private accommodation in our city and hotel accommodation. Regarding this option, we suggest that you make a reservation through public advertising (eg. booking.com) or with our support, you only need to inform us via e-mail (direktor@ubn.rs.ba, jovana.vujic.ubn@gmail.com) to check availability and other details.
* The University of Bijeljina will conduct the process of finding accommodation for all its incoming students and staff.

MENTORING
UBN provides mentoring work to incoming staff and students to help them fit into the existing structure and organizational culture. Each study program has its own coordinators for international cooperation, appointed by the Senate, who help incoming staff and students to those study programs to adapt more easily and quickly.

INCLUSION OF PARTICIPANTS WITH FEWER OPPORTUNITIES
Sending institutions should firstly contact our University in order to communicate the profile of sending student or staff and to check possibilities that can be offered by our University. Since this information can be of a sensitive nature, the UBN will look at the human, material and infrastructural capacities, as well as the capacities of the environment that can support the stay of such persons at our institution and our city.
