The outcome of the learning process

Learning Outcome :

By mastering basic academic studies, students acquire applicable knowledge in the field of agroeconomics, are able to use literature and transfer knowledge, as well as continue their studies at graduate academic studies. In addition, students acquire general and subject-specific abilities in the function of quality performance of professional activity in agroeconomics.

Subject-specific abilities are reflected in the knowledge of: concepts, categories, methods and procedures in planning, compiling and resolving accounting and financial aspects of agriculture and evaluation of investment and commercial-foreign trade operations business systems of agriculture and food industry, including organizational and economic aspects of rural development, cooperatives and markets, trade and marketing of agricultural products. This also includes the contents of management, leadership, planning, design and consulting of business systems of agriculture and food industry.

Upon completion of the study, the student is qualified to: perform the organization of production and processing, marketing and transportation of agri-food products, raw materials, auxiliary materials and means of production intended for agricultural and business systems food industry. Students are also trained to work in banks, insurance companies, representative offices, development, customs services, agencies, government agencies, agricultural advisory services and as managers in the field of agribusiness.

Upon completion of basic academic studies, the student masters the methods of teamwork, uses literature and other information sources, uses methods of collecting data and information, ranks and selects data, shows independence and responsibility for their own learning and is able to transfer agro-economic knowledge and conclusions to the professional and general public.

The University of Bijeljina was established by the College of Health Care Bijeljina, based on the Consent of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska.

The mission of the University is to enable the acquisition of new knowledge, skills and competencies, primarily for candidates from Semberija and surrounding regions, then the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina and from other interested countries.
