Proof of consistency with other study programs

The program was developed in accordance with the European guidelines for higher education reform contained in the Bologna Declaration (introduction of the European credit transfer system, promotion of student and teaching staff mobility, adoption of a new study structure) and the Lisbon Convention (mutual recognition of higher education qualifications in the European region).

The study program of Psychology is comparable with the programs of related institutions, Faculties of Psychology in: Belgrade (Serbia), Zagreb (Croatia) and Nikšić (Montenegro), in terms of subject content, duration of academic studies, total number of theoretical and practical classes, forms of teaching, scope of studies (expressed through the number of ECTS) and the existence of compulsory and elective courses.

The University of Bijeljina was established by the College of Health Care Bijeljina, based on the Consent of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska.

The mission of the University is to enable the acquisition of new knowledge, skills and competencies, primarily for candidates from Semberija and surrounding regions, then the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina and from other interested countries.
