Learning Outcome :

By mastering basic academic studies, students acquire applicable knowledge in the field of agricultural production, are able to use literature, transfer knowledge and continue their studies. In addition, students acquire general and subject-specific abilities in the function of quality performance of professional activity.

In this study program, students acquire subject-specific knowledge in the field of: farming, vegetables, livestock, fruit growing, viticulture, horticulture, phytomedicine, food technology, agroeconomics. Based on the acquired knowledge, they are able to solve specific problems in the production and processing of agricultural products, organizing production, processing and trade of seeds, production of planting material of fruit trees and vines, raising and caring for orchards and vineyards, creating and implementing protection programs, valid risk assessment from the appearance and spread of harmful organisms, the risk of applying chemical control measures to humans and the environment. This also includes the contents of management, leadership, planning, design and consulting of business systems of agriculture and food industry. Students are thoroughly prepared for the application of combined basic knowledge in various fields, monitoring and application of innovations, adoption of modern technologies in agricultural production, the use of information and communication technologies in mastering the knowledge of the relevant field.

In addition, the student is able to: collect and classify ideas and data in a predictable, defined and standard format, analyze data according to instructions using appropriate principles and methods of classification, evaluate and evaluate reliability data with the application of defined methods or instructions and applies the principles and methods for precise and careful resolution of a particular professional issue.

Upon completion of basic academic studies, the student masters the methods of teamwork, uses literary and other information sources, evaluates himself and others in an appropriate way, uses methods of collecting data and information, ranks and selects data, demonstrates independence and responsibility for one's own learning, masters communication methods in a form adapted to professional discipline and writes a report on practical procedures in a clear and concise manner.

Upon completion of these studies, students are able to transfer knowledge and conclusions to the professional and general public.
